Spencer took a seat on the beach, allowing the sun to cover his entire body. He closed his blue eyes, hoping that the sun wouldn't lighten his hair too much. Through his closed eyes, he could see only red from the intense sun. There was a light, warm breeze, but besides that it was hot.
He placed his hands behind his head for support.

Crystal smiled as she allowed the rays of the light to carress her pale body, as her hair was blowing from the breeze passing by. She loved the beach, a little bit too much. Straightening herself up, she walked along the shore, allowing her feet to make contact with the yellow sand beneath her.
She was happy, and nothing, or rather, no one for now would ruin that great mood of hers. As far as she knows for now at least. Shrugging inwardly, she sat down, allowing the sun to shine over her even more, and saw someone near there. With a small smile, she nodded. When she's happy, she's sociable. [/blockquote]

Feeling the presence of someone close to him, he opened his eyes to see a pretty blonde sitting only feet away from him.
"Why, hello there," he said, feeling in a good mood.
For some reason, the beach always brought the best out in him and he didn't know why. He could be in a lousy mood when he arrived, but the moment he hears the first wave crash, it just relaxes him.

It was either one of two choices: She was an Empath, which of course, is too far away to even be believable, or that it was just the beach itself lightening everybody's mood. She'll have to pick the second choice then.
Plastering a friendly smile on her lips, she introduced herself "I'm Crystal Wyatt." She merely didn't know anyone outside of school, and he was perhaps from another school, new, to be precise, since she never did see him at all. [/blockquote]

Spencer propped himself up onto his elbows.
"I'm Spencer Reynolds," he told her. "It's so nice out today, I don't even know why I'm on the beach instead of in the water."
He didn't know why he was being so talkative so soon. He was generally afraid of rejection; that someone will talk to him until someone better walks along. Hell, that's the way it used to be back in Ireland.

Crystal merely shrugged, completely unaware of the fact that he really did talk too much. Perhaps it was the fact that the beach was extremely refreshing that she couldn't snap at anyone. Bleh.
"You're not from here, are you?" she asked looking back at him with an eyebrow raised. [/blockquote]

"No, I'm not," he answered. "Are you?"
( OOC: sorry for short length, a bit of writer's block lol)

Crystal shrugged a little. Shaking her head, she answered "No. I attended school here ever since my first year." Standing up, she gave a smile "We're in the beach, and we're talking about schools, don't you think a swim might do." she suggested. [/blockquote]

He smiled and stood up. He unnecessarily wiped the dirt of his lower legs where his legs had extended past his beach towel.
"I was waiting for you to ask," he said. "I'll beat you to the water."
Without even waiting for the go, he began to head towards the water.

Crystal uttered a chuckle and rolled her eyes. Before she could blink, however, she ran after him. Upon reaching the water, she childishly stuck her tongue out. "Now that's called cheating." she told him jokingly with a smile. [/blockquote]

Spencer laughed. "Fine, if you want to win so badly..."
He paused and walked behind her, then placed his arms around her waist and threw her into the waist-deep water. "You win."

Crystal couldn't help but laugh along the scene she was in. She knew perfectly well that if she was in her normal mood, well, then Spencer would be a baked cake sooner than he can say the words.
But on the contrary, she was having fun. "Yes. I win." she said simply, standing up, or rather, attempting to stand up, when she fell into the water once again. She rolled her eyes at herself.
Smooth Crystal....smooth [/blockquote]

He laughed at her in a jokingly kind of way. "Wow, well, you're not a klutz at all."
He offered her his hand to help her up.

She gave him a fake-glare before glancing at his hand. "How do you know I won't pull you down?" she asked him, and even though she did say that, she took his hand gently, and stood up, a little too close.
With a thankful smile, she removed the fake-glare look from her face, and merely enjoyed the fact that now she wasn't dry. Spencer, on the other hand, was. A smirk formed on her lips at the thought of that. [/blockquote]

She stood up rather close to him and he could see how truly blue her eyes were. However, a smile formed at her lips and he didn't want to know what she was thinking.
(OOC: I got to go now, we'll finish this later... make another post though lol so when I return I'll have something to reply to)
