She shook her head, actually biting her toungue to stop herself from trying to deter Cheryl. She knew it was useless; she couldn't change who Cheryl was, as much as she'd prefer for her to just stay safe. Biting her toungue also managed to stop her making some remark along the lines of 'you deserved to lose those points' or something like that.
When asked about food, she just shook her head, "I don't feel much like eating much." she said, looking guiltily to the drink she already had in her hands.

"Are you sure though? I mean it's around supper time..." she said as she checked her watch to confirm. "Yeah, it's around supper and I don't see any other place around here to get food." she told her. (ahh sry short post. erg i can't write properly today.)

"Cheryl, relax, I'm not turning anarexic." she said with an affectionate smile, knowing that the coffee-boy must have been getting quite impatient. She wanted to just make it clear quickly to Cheryl so that he could get back to his work. She'd had enough of letting people down... "I just don't like eating supper much, that's all. So thanks, but no thanks." she said, mostly to the coffee-boy.

Spencer entered and looked around. This was one of the many places he decided to explore today. Unsurprisingly, he knew no one. He took a seat by himself and just looked around. He saw two girls sitting together a tiny distance away from them. He made quick eye contact with one of them before looking away and looking at the menu.

"Okay, I thought well yeah you were skipping meals. One of my friends back in elementary was hospitalized because she wasn't eating anymore. I guess it just turned into a habit of asking people since she almost died. Sorry. Heyyy, do you see that guy over there? He was looking over here...you know him?" she asked Hannah, while she pointed quickly over at the guy.

She was shocked at Cheryl's annecdote. She'd imagined that she would have been worried because of that - she was paranoid of both appearing too large and appearing annorexic, both of which being just as bad as the other in her opinion. But to know that Cheryl's worries were for a reason was still shocking.
She automatically looked to where Cheryl was signalling, but immediately regretted it, finding herself blushing as she was looking at a stranger. She shook her head, her old nerves kicking in. So much for a new, reformed Hannah she told herself.

"Er...Hannah, you okay? You're like flushed all of a sudden, and it's not as if you were running or something." she laughed a little.
(sorry...short post.)

Spencer looked up quickly to see that the one girl had quickly pointed over to him. He smiled to himself as he went back to the menu. The waiter came over and he quickly ordered just a coffee. He glanced over at the girls again as the waiter left with his menu and order.

She didn't look at her. She'd only been so shocked because she thought she was drawing attention to herself and had been staring at the boy. Of course, now she realised that she'd been drawing more attention to herself by turning away so quickly, not helping her blushing cheeks which refused to simmer down. "Nothing." she said truthfully, talking a large gulp of her hot chocolate. "Do you know him?" she asked.

The waiter returned with Spencer's coffee. He took it, but just as the waiter began to walk away, Spencer grab the waiter's arm. "Wait a second," he said, then whispered something into the waiter's ear, feeling oddly charismatic. A few minutes later, the waiter walked over to the two girls with two virgin pina coladas and handed each girl one.

"No I don't know him..." and just as those words came out of Cheryl's mouth, the waiter from before brought over the cake she had ordered along with 2 drinks. "Thanks, but I didn't order the drinks, it was only the cake." she told him politly, hoping the waiter wouldn't be embarrassed by his mistake.
"Oh no, Miss, these 2 drinks are for the two of you. From that gentleman over there." the waiter told them as he gestured to the boy that they were talking about just moments before.

Not....Helping.... She tried to cool her nerves desperately, gritting her teeth and clutching the desk. She could handle the embarressment of accidently looking at someone oddly, but this was something different. This was attention - straight at her. And Cheryl. She hoped it was mostly for Cheryl. Her face turned even more pink, as she muttered a samll thank you to the waiter for the drink, though she refused to touch it or even acknowlede it's existance.

"Oh well that's kind of him. Thank you!" she told the waiter as she took her cake and the drink. "Wonder if these two things will taste odd together, chocolate cake and a pina colada." she laughed. "Want a piece of the cake before I devour it?" she asked Hannah.

Spencer looked over to see the one girl distinctly say, 'thank you.' While the other girl's face went rather pink. She didn't touch her drink.

She looked at her for a momemnt, before looking back to the table, taking her hands off the edge of the table and folding them neatly in her lap. "No, I'm fine." she said to her offer. She didn't even like chocolate cake. She was just happy that the boy wasn't mentioned.
Boys who buy you drinks should not be trusted... Where had she heard that before? Probably one of her mothers rantings, or her father's over-protective lectures. That only made her more confused, unsure if it was truth or not.
