The sun was making it's daily circle so it could bring light and warmth to the other side of the earth and let the side it was leaving be overcome with the such a depth and darkness that only the fear of the night caused people to stay in doors. But it wasn't truly the fear of night that kept people at bay, it was the darkness that came with night, it was what night was known for that kept evening stragglers at bay. There were few that ventured into the deepest of darkness and those were the ones who had adarkness in themselves. They felt connected and at home with the darkness.

Maybe that is why Aiden choose the deepest dwelling of the Dark Forest for his change. Maybe that is why Aiden stood bathed in moonlight that cracked and crawled through empty branches so he could feel his beast stir. Aiden held the reign of his control tightly as he felt his beast growl and scratch at him from the inside. It was looking for its escape and Aiden was going to give the beast it's freedom, but only after he spoke with his twin sister, Serephina. Aiden was testing the control Sebastian had tought him and was waiting for a message from his master.

Sebastian was Aiden's only key to the knowledge of what was happening to him. The connection Aiden had begun to forge with the Vampire was strong and gave Aiden his life back. It gave him reasons to live and not let his beast take control. Aiden has been acting as Sebastian's pomme de sang, or apple of blood, to the master vampire so the school didn't need to worry about where Sebastian feed from. But even as Aiden thought about his beast the gentle persuasion for the moonlight was caressing something deep inside him and was trying to bring it out to be one with the darkness.

As the new students started to walk into the Great Hall and you saw Riley amongst them, looking just as curious and eager as them. But somehow, you repeating it, didn't make you feel any better. You caught Riley's eyes and she waved at you and you waved back. She seemed pretty happy - something good must have happened.

Her pale face was beaming gold as she tipped her face back to look at the enchanted ceiling, and you laughed at her when she almost lost her balance again. You watched as curious eyes fell upon her, since most people knew she wasn't a first year - she was taller and more mature looking than them. Even if she didn't know how to be a witch.

As she gathered with all the new students infront of the sorting hat, you prayed with everything in you that she would get sorted into Gryffindor. Or at least anything, but Slytherin. You saw Draco's eyes watch her playfully and you saw him get the attention of his table to notice her. You watched, while scowling, most of the sixth year boys from Slytherin nod in agreement at something Draco said, lusting grins on all of their faces.

Perverted little gits, you thought and you kept on glaring at them until you drew your attention to the sorting hat.
"Miss Riley Jennings." you heard Professer McGonagall call out.

You felt your breathing stop as she stepped out of the large group, hair flowing past her shoulders as she sat upon the stool. The enchated celing changed suddenly, making the scene above you into this mysterious silver color, with stars floating above everyone's head. The silver glow fell graciously upon your friend and you could hear other people gasp as they noticed her. She sat straight on the stool, hands gripping tight to her bare knees, with her socks stopping right below them. Her skirt had gone up a tad, showing off her legs, which you noticed with pleasure - as most of the guys in the room did. Her shirt complimented her curves, with her robe trailing around her and her eyes were glowing brightly in the silver glow.

"Wow..." you heard yourself and Harry say at the same time. "I second that." You heard Dean say and some other sixth year boys mumbled some compliment about her.

Miss McGonagall slowly placed the sorting hat on her head and you saw her body tense up a bit, obviously nervous at everything that was happening. You knew she was shy in a way and most likely not used to all the stares she was getting - but as you tried to look away, you couldn't. Your eyes, along with the rest of the student body, were transfixed on her.

A heavy sigh escaped the 5th year's mouth as she glanced around the room, no one, no one at all was awake, and she just stood there, her eyes skimming for anything to do, for the Gryffindor Princess's self wasnt a one who would enjoy boredom with any quantity. Darkness was overcoming the place, but Bellatrix never actually have seen light with all the meaning of the word. Her life, bound with eternity to live in darkness, but she never have given the subject a thought, or atleast she tried not to.


Just the mere thought of it, would bring some emotion to her pale and emotionless face, and thats not what Bellatrix was, she wasnt that of a girl to show her emotions, not by any chance at all. Taking ages of what seemed for her to take a deep breath inisde, her cold feet was in contact with the wooden floor, sending nothing but tingles to her body, as she wore her normal white sneakers, observing everything around her, sighing once again as she 'remembered' that she was a Gryffindor, a house that represented nothing Bellatrix was, she was brave, and one hell of a prankster, but now, her life has changed, the only house that seemed to fit her was....well, none.


She was only surprised as no one have noticed that Bellatrix Jane Carter, the formerly cheerful girl, has changed quite a lot, for they talked to her as normal as ever, but it was for the better, that no one have noticed her for what she really is. Dragging her legs as graceful as ever towards the famous scarlet and gold Gryffindor common room, she glanced back one last time, to really make sure that no one was awake.


Double checking, Bellatrix walked out of the portrait hole calmly, as her eyes havent met the road infront of her, for her legs would drag her to wherever it does. Feeling the cold breeze tpuch her face, the young Vampiress glanced infront of her finally, her eyes searching for a sign of a known place, and she found it, the lake she once swam in happily, with no fears at all, but hapiness doesnt last forever, or thats how it was for Bellatrix.


That lake wasnt the Black Lake, it was deep inside the Forbidden Forest, and Bellatrix was sure no one knew about it. Walking towards it, a reflection appeared on the surface of the lake, she couldnt believe that this reflection was hers, but she just glanced back at her pale self in the water, her fangs barely showing, as she sighed but showed no signs of emotion when she sat down under the rosewood tree, her eyes glancing dangerously at the water nearby her.

A smirk appeared on the man's lips as he pointed his wand at the young girl. "I guess you'll have to say goodbye to everyone Bella, eh?" he asked her, the smirk never escaping his dark lips, as his barely shown face didn't shown any sign of sympathy. "If you lay one finger on her, it'll be your last seconds of your life." Bellatrix told the man, her face struggling with anger. The man only smirked more, and mumbled the curse, the Killing Curse, in a matter of seconds, the little girl, was dead, cold body, an angel on the ground. Bellatrox gasped, it had in a matter of an eyeblink, just like that, and Bellatrix didn't see it coming.

She kneeled down, as the man had disappeared instantly, and took the 11 years old girl's hands in hers. "Lizzy? Lizzy, please wake up." Bellatrix said calmly, her eyes looking at the dead body of her sister. Why isn't tears falling off Bella's eyes, it was because she had no heart, it was taken from her, and even her sister's death won't shake her amotions at all.

"Hush Little Baby, Don't say a word.
Momma's gonna buy you a mocking bird.

And if that mocking bird don't sing,

Bellatrix stopped singing with a small smile "Rest In Peace Lizzy." She told her, as she got up, glanced at her former little sister, and planted a kiss on her cold forehead.

Bellatrix woke up with narrow grey eyes glancing around, and a sigh escaped her lips. Removing herself from bed, she walked to her sister's room. "Lizzy? Liz? Common honey, we're leaving." She told her, but Lizzy just grunted, and with a small calm smile, Bellatrix carried her sister over her shoulder. "We're returning home." she just told her, and walked out of the room.

Glancing around, it was only minutes when that guy would come, and Bellatrix walked out of the house completely, getting away from the house as far as possible, and the only sound that could be heard by now, besides Lizzy's snoring, was a shout of frustration from their former house.

Sophie could smell the guy had been drinking and had a slight smirk on her face as it would be in his blood stream. She walked over and put on her charm. Flirting with the guy she went to whisper into his ear. Before he could stop her though she bit into him and covered his mouth so no-one could hear his screams. Once she was finnished she wiped her mputh and walked away as if nothing had happened.

Justin walked into the Forbidden Forest, with the most tiring view anyone can see. It was obvious that he had stayed up all night, doing his homework. Psh, how mean are the teachers? Anyways, as he walked, he hearda crack from behind him, and he stopped abruptly, narrowing his eyes and turning slowly. A gasp escaped Justin's mouth as he saw it was a dragon, a huge, big, red, fire breathing dragon. Should he scream, or would that make the dragon eat him even more.

As he heard that in his mind, the word eat, he gulped inwardly, and planted a smile on his lips. If the dragon was a female, maybe he could seduce her or something....psh, who is he kidding. "Hi." he told her, grining innocently, but the dragon, in a matter of seconds, shot fire at Justin, and Justin's eyes widened, not from horror, for everything happened fast, to shock, and the fact that he, instead of truning into ashed, was in the fire, not burning not one bit, and a smirk appeared on his lips. How could he have forgotten, of course, he was the Fire Elemental, and no fire can hurt him. This seemed to scare the dragon, and also, Justin had conjured fire out of no where, which made the dragon flee away, not leaving anything but a proud Justin.

Swirling like a hurricane, the clouds seem to stir uncomfortably. Like it was going to storm or a tornado was going to come along. Or maybe even harsh rains. Not like anyone took notice of any of this. Too dark of times.

Afterall, it was 1953. Poodle skirts. Huge sunglasses. Plaid. The good ole days way back when. When Ascilia was sixty-three years old. Now, your probably thinking, 'say whaa? Yes. Sixty-three. She still took on the apperance of an innocent eighteen year old. Still had that long ebony hair and those cold, bright eyes. A mark on her upon her pale neck. Two little holes that healed up to a little scar.

Lightly sighing, Ascilia ran her hand over the scar that had been there for fifty years. Always remembering the night that she had gotten it. Her dear family member. Eustance. She never understood why he hated her so much. They always seemed to close. So together. Like a family should be. But, he had always held a grudge against her. Something that he took to his fiery grave.

Looking around the empty allyway for the first time in about in hour, Ascilia sighed again. She was wondering where Vlad was, and wondering if he was ever going to come. He had persuaded her to come to America for his job for a little while. Ascilia still wondered why she had grown so fond of him. He knew that her soul was dxmned to hell, but he still stayed with her.

Slightly confusing. This love thing is. Or was it love? Ascilia wasn't sure. She was still young.. Well. In most vampires' opinions she would still be considered young and slightly naive to the underworld. But nevertheless, she kept her composure as long as she could. Especially when around him.

"Hello darling.." A male musky voice whispered in her ear, startling her. A pair of arms making their way around her thin waist. A pair of lips finding her neck, careful to avoid the scar. The male knew that Ascilia would come around in a few minutes.

"I told you not to call me that.." Ascilia repiled quietly, her arms done beside her, her black hair piled onto one side of her shoulder, giving Vlad an easy path to her neck. She had always been insecure about being called darling. It made it sound like she was his. And she was still independent.

Shrugging, Vlad turned her around so that she was facing him. He hadn't expected to grow so fond of her. A vampire. He knew that his parents were highly disagreeing with his choice of Ascilia. He was only twenty-six years old. Shaggy blond hair. Those electrifying blue eyes. Ascilia had chosen well. Or so it seemed once again.

Ascilia hadn't eaten in awhile. And I mean as in, drank anything. Blood. She was starting to get thirsty. And lusting after blood. Bloodlust can always end in turmoil. That was one sign Ascilia always ignored. She knew that soon she wouldn't be able to hold back anymore.

"Make me a vampire." Vlad said out of the blue. It was a question he had always been asking about. And he always knew the answer. No. Ascilia had never wanted to put her curse upon him. She wanted him to keep his job. Seeing as it was a daytime job.

"You know I can't. I do-" Ascilia was cut of by Vlad. Ascilia always hated when he did this to her. It made her heart ache with longing and emptiness. She knew that one day he had to die and leave her. While Ascilia lived on her immoral life.

"Yes you can. You know you can. Just because you don't want to bestow your dxmned soul upon me, doesn't mean you should hold back just for my sake. I don't want to die and leave you here alone." Vlad said weakly, his hands finding hers and lacing them together.

"You're choosing the weakest person to do that to you. I don't want to hurt you.. Or worse.." Ascilia mumbled lightly. She didn't want to do that. She didn't want to hurt him. And most importantly, she didn't feel want to accidently kill him. She could never handle that. It would shatter her heart into a million pieces.

"Your not weak, Cilia.." Vlad mumbled into her ear, using her nickname. His chin resting on her shoulder, breathing on her neck. Something that he knew got to her. Ascilia was a little weak when it came to this.

"Yes I am. And you know that. I maybe a vampire, but I'm weak as hell." Ascilia repiled, attempting to push herself away from him. But, Vlad held onto her hands tighter. No way in hell he was going to be mortal anymore after tonight. He was determined to push her buttons far enough.

"Think about it. An endless life together." Vlad said, nearly pleading to her. Wishing that she would trust him for once on an idea. He wanted to be with her. Ascilia knew that this was nearly killing him. To see him plead like this. To beg her. It made her feel dirt low to turn him down on his offer.

Ascilia was silent for a long time, pondering on whether or not she really wanted to do this. Make him hers forever. No one elses. Just hers. Just Ascilia's. On the other hand, both of their souls would doomed to hell. Which was something that she never wanted to put upon him. Sighing lightly once more before lifting his chin and looking him in the eyes, Ascilia was still thinking about this major choice.

"Fine.." Ascilia said weakly. She let go of his chin as she smiled and pulled her closer to him, finally happy. Finally glad that she decided to finally do bite him. Finally glad that he didn't have to die anymore. So wouldn't have to break her heart.

"Its going to hurt.." Ascilia mumbled lightly into his ear. She was now fully afraid. She was hoping that she didn't get too caried away with the biting. Bloodlust leads to turmoil and heartbreaks. She was aching all the way inside. Aching because of the fear in her throat.

"I don't care.." Vlad repiled, standing a little aways from her. He brushed back the hair that had been on his neck, leaving a psace wide enough for her to bite. Pale neck. Not as pale as Ascilia's though. She sighed again, taking a deep breath, wanting to know if she really wanted to do this.

Taking another breath, she extended her fangs, stepping towars him. Vlad was standing against the wall, ready to feel the pain. Ascilia's bloodlust was becoming hard to ignore. Vlad was starting to look tastier and tastier as she leaned her mouth towards his neck.

Looking down at her, Vlad slightly noticed that she had that hint of lust in her eyes. It slightly scared him, but he kept with it. He thought it might be natural for a vampire when they have their fangs out and ready to eat something to eat.

Biting into his neck, Ascilia was slightly rough. The taste of blood was making her loose her common sense and focus. She was starting to get rouger. Like a rabid animal that hasn't eaten in a long time. All hope was basically lost for poor Vlad. he was flinching and telling her to slow down, but his voice seemed to be blocked out by the demonic voice in Ascilia's head.

When she had her fill, her senses were starting to come back. She noticed that Vlad was paler than normal and worst of all, dying. Dying because of blood loss. Dying because of her. Ascilia instantly jumped back, watching Vlad's body slid down the stone wall. His eyes becoming darker, the life leaving them.

"Vlad!" Ascilia collapsed beside him, cradling his head in her arms. Tears gathering in her eyes. Tears of sadness. Tears of regret. Vlad coughed up blood and his body shook uncomortably. Ascilia knew that she had sent him to his grave.

"Don't.. worry.. it.." Vlad paused to cough some more, body still shaking. Only a few minutes left until he left her completely alone. To be dxmned to hell. He had a bad feeling in the beginning and and now he knew it would be this. "was... my.. fault.." he finished his sentence.

"No it wasn't.." Ascilia said, a tear dripping down on his bloodstained neck. A few dry sobs escaping from her throat. She felt so alone now. Felt so empty. Felt so idiotic. She knew not to go against her better judgement. And she had gone against it.

"I love you.." Ascilia sobbed, looking at him. She was for certain now. She wasn't ever sure that she could ever love again after this. Why..? Why did she have to lose control. Why did she kill him? Why? It hurt her worse than hell. Loosing the person you love is always deadly. You may just follow them to the grave.

Events Leading up to the Incident

Sam huddled in a corner, listening to the sounds of other people running past, screaming, as a figure chased, laughing. He almost screamed out loud as a shadow past in front of him, but kept quiet, and it moved on. He tried to move, when something jumped out in front of him. He couldn't see its face, but could hear its voice...
"Well well well. Who do we have here?"
Sam squirmed, about to open his mouth.
"Don't answer!" The figure shouted. "Just, sit still. This will be over quickly..."

Nowadays

Sam looked around the trees, wiping a speck of blood from his upper lips. He could see the castle's lights ahead, but decided to lurk around the Forest for a little longer. He turned, hearing something, replacing his smug grin with his known scared little boy look. "W-Who's there?" He stuttered naturally, anyway. "Who i-is it?" When he didn't get an answer, he quickly moved to behind another tree, spotting the figure. Without waiting for an answer, he lunged on them, going for the neck. He bit deep, feeling the familiar rush of blood as the victims body felt shock, and then relaxed. He drew blood up, draining it, and dropped the body, wiping blood from his lips and moving the body to beneath a huge pile of leaves, and headed back toward the castle...

It was around mid afternoon, Steph was finally returning home from her first year at the U of M. Though once she arrived home, she was curious as to why all those people were standing around her front porch. An ambulance was on her driveway and it seemed that there were two lumps under some blankets. Afraid, Steph ran past all the people on her porch, even pushing a few to see what was going on. Then a man grabbed her by her wrist and she couldn't run any farther.

"You aren't Stephanie are you?" He asked, she nodded slowly, tears slowly rolling down her cheeks. Right then and there she knew what happened. Those lumps under the blankets were her parents, they were dead. Someone had killed them the night before she was supposed to return home. "No! They can't be..." She nearly screamed at the top of her lungs. Then a neighbor of hers walked up to her and hugged her. The only source of comfort she had now.....

Quickly Steph awoke from her nap, completely forgetting where she had been the past few hours. Looking around, she realized that she was on a train headed for home. She breathed a sigh of relief. One bad dream.... She thought, not knowing that once she would get home it really wouldn't be a dream after all.

Looking out the window, it was barely noon, she would be back home in a couple hours if nothing terrible happened along the way. It was a nice and sunny day, though she wished she didn't have to be stuffed in a train with a bunch of other people she barely knew. Then she began her plans of what to do back at home. She took out some parchment and a quill and began to list the things she wanted to do. Unfortunately, none of these things were ever accomplished.

"Why are you avoiding me?" demanded a familiar voice as it rang through his ears. "I....I...I am n..not av...voiding you...." Jared stuttered unsurely, as he didn't dare look up. "Yes you are!" that voice was rising and rising higher by the second. "No I am not." Jared told her, still quietly. "Yes you are!" the girl argued back, slamming one hand at the tree next to Jared.

Jared still didn't dare meet her eyes, as his mind seemed crammed from the million thoughts running through it. A sigh unwillingly escaped his lips, as he didn't dare say anything to her now. "Jared..." she whispered "Look at me." her voice seemed to be coming from quite a distance, even though she was standing extremely near to him. "Look at me!" she said once again, her voice becoming more demanding by the second.

Jared's eyes shot up abruptly, even though he didn't want to tell her, or even look at her. "Now tell me." something in her voice always made Jared weak, unable to contain anything in, hide anything from her or anything. "I.....can't." he admitted, his voice edging weakness. "You can and you will! What is it!?" she told him, her voice not becoming less demanding at all.

As a long breath entered Jared's lungs, he finally mumbled "I'll show you." His voice seemed to be oppositing his mind, for his voice sounded completely calm. He took her hand, and looked her in the eyes, before avoiding her gaze and walking towards the Forbidden Forest. His feet trembled a little as he walked, his hand that was holding hers was shaking.

It seemed to take forever to reach the place where Jared was intending to go to, even though they were a matter of minutes. He took one glance at her, then turned his head the other way, his hands slipping away from hers, and walked towards the trees. After a few seconds, Jared merged out of the trees, with something in his hand, something green, a beast, a green slithery beast, to be more precise, a snake.

She raised an eyebrow, before giving a light fake-snort of laughter "So this is what you were keeping from me. That you had a snake. Jared's eyes met the snake, as the snake finally talked "What have you brought me here for Jared?" Jared never break the eye contact, mumbling "Merely just to prove something that will ruin my whole life, social and emotional life that is."

Jared could totally hear her gasp, as she blinked a couple of times. Jared finally looked up, meeting her gaze at once. His name escaped her lips a couple of times, and before he knew it, he found himself being embraced by her. "Jared. This is completely alright. I know you aren't a bad guy Jared. In fact, you're the sweetest guy I've ever met." Jared but smile as she blushed, making him blush too.</sup>

The sun had just set, darkness crept over the town of Hogsmeade. Everything was silent; mostly. No one could see the male who stood high above the roads; he was on the roof tops; stalking his pray. His pray was, out of most’s astonishment; Ginny Weasley. Why was he after the girl? He and Voldemort were on horrible terms, it seemed no matter what he did, Voldemort just got more and more pissed off. So not, Eric was going to go against the moron, he was going to pull every move he could to piss him off. This was perfect; Voldemort had told everyone to bring him Ginny Weasley, alive. Eric was going to kill her, and put a large hole in Voldemort’s plan. This was all too sweet.

The girl finally seemed petrified by him, not even knowing he was there, he could tell she could feel something off. He smirked as he had her pinned in an alleyway. Just as Eric jumped down, he heard the boy, the chosen boy. Turning on his heels, he stared down Potter before he turned back. Eric was cold and pale. He walked forward very silently and grabbed up Ginny very fast, pulling her into a choke hold, he had his hand clasped over her mouth. He licked his ivory fangs as they extended.

A hiss escaped Eric’s mouth as his normal green eyes began to change colors, going to Crimson, he tightened his grasp on the Weasley girl and moved her hair, shadows began to surround them and Eric opened his mouth wide, moving slowly, he first kissed her soft peach skin, then his sharp fangs pierced her skin and began to withdraw the crimson liquid, his skin going from an awful pale pasty color to a light peach, her skin going from peach to white.

Eric felt the blood escaping her body and entering his mouth, as soon as he was completed, the shadows disappeared. Silence over took the entire area, and Potter was staring with horror. Eric licked his lips and chucked the girl’s limp body into Potter’s arms. “She tasted like nasty oily rotten fish.” He grumbled, he leaned against the wall, his fangs retracting. “I hope you adored her while it lasted. Next I am coming for you.” Eric nodded slowly and stepped back, then darkness surrounded the entire area, and Eric vanished into the shadows.
