Ronan had apperated to Leavesden Island in the hopes to find a nice spot to tan, scope out guys, swim, scope out more guys, and maybe do some work. One he had apprived on the "Hot" side of the island he had rented out a 2 Bedroom beach house. He loaded it up with what he needed for the break undressed and then grabbed a beach blanket and walked outside.
Once outside he set up the towl and layed down on it. Ronan raised his hand and said "Accio Wand" and his wand flew to him from inside the house. He gave it a slightly complicated wave and the air below his stomach became colored so you could not see though it, but it still allowed sunlight to pass through.
"There now no one should complain" he said as he closed his eyes and started to relax for the first time in very many months.

Floyd had been absolutely thrilled when Chris had declared they were going to spend a few days of vacation soaking up the sun. They had left David and their father behind, so they could spend some time bonding together. Well that and Chris and David had been fighting. Mostly over Floyd himself, even though the boy was completely oblivious to their arguments. To say the least David wasn't happy when they left.
All of the conflict was far from his mind now though. The sun was shinning merrily overhead, and Chris had left him "home" while she went out shopping for tonights dinner. With an order to stay close to their suite, he decided he might as well visit the nearby beach. What could possibly go wrong there?
A grin threatened to split his face in half as he quickly dressed into his board shorts, and grabbed his surfboard. They matched of course, black with purple spirals weaving intricate designs across the surface. Although he lacked an evident tan, Floyd spent a lot of time outdoors. He just never tanned well, always burning with just the slightest amount of sun. Careful to put on plenty of sunscreen before he left so Christine wouldn't slaughter him, he set off for the beach.
Completely oblivious to his surroundings, especially of the few people around him, he began to set up his towel. Once he was done surfing it would make it more convenient for him to start setting up now. Thus he set to work straightening his towel and laying out a few drinks in an ice chest for when he got thirsty.

Ronan shot up off the ground. As he was tanning he had thought of a wording for a spell he had been working on. He pulled out his wand and with a wave his clothes zoomed out of the house along with small roll of Parchment, a quill, and ink. He had dressed and wrote a short letter and with a wave of his wand the letter vanished heading to the MoM. He needed to test the spell before the Ministry arrived so he started to walk down the beach. Out in the deeper waters the water started to ripple and bubble as if a Mountain was riseing up from the bottom.
"Accio Broom" Ronan said and summoned his broom to him. He mounted it and flew out torwds the troubled waters hopeing and dreading that he would get a chance to see if his new spell would work.

Floyd was about to yank the end of his surfboard out of the ground when he noticed a boy next to him leaping up. At first nothing strange caught his eye, but the moment before he was about to take off for the surf. He realized what seemed so wrong in the picture. He could feel the heat radiate from his face at just the thought, and the color his face turned could have rivaled that of a cherry.
He determinedly shut his mouth, and looked away as the guy dressed. The boy did seem pretty familiar, he must have gone to Floyd's school. This was one of the more famous vacation spots for them. Suddenly the boy shot off towards a patch of churning water. It wasn't long before he called his broom to him, and watched as the water rose up.
An accidental gasp escaped his lips, and his surfboard clattered to the ground. "Whoa," he breathed out before grinning, his past embarrassment forgotten. He trotted over to the edge of the water, and watched as the mountain of water continued to grow. "What are you doing?" he finally called out as the boy moved closer to the moving column of water.

Ronan Turned to tell the boy to stay back when half a blue whale was thrown from the water followed by a huge head. A sea Serpant started to rise from the water and it caught the half of a whale and swallowed it without even takeing a bite from it. Ronan was able to move at the last minute as the Monster snapped at him.
"Stay Back" Ronan called as he drew his wand. He started to send severing spells at the monster trying to find its weakest spot.

Floyd froze in place as the giant monster ripped the whale to shreds. Bits of debrie crashing back onto the ocean. Once the monster turned back to the boy though it seemed as if an automatic reset button was switched. Floyd lunged forward, a scream tearing from his lungs, "Look out!" He froze watching the monster attack, and took a few steps back.
There was no way he could do anything against this beast. There was a reason he wasn't put in Gryffindor. He turned on his heel, and began shouting at the occupants on the beach. Yelling for help, for anything. Not many were even paying attention though, since most had ran screaming from the beast when it emerged. Many were still packing up, and taking off causing wide-spread pandemonium on the beach.

Ronan had found the weak spot on the creature. He turned to face it head on and said "I am sorry" he raised his wand and said in a clear loud voice that was full of power and regret "Animus Nex!" black and red light shot out from the tip of Ronans wand and they where almost a flame. The struck the creature and it just stopped for a moment and suddenly a bright blue explosion happened around the creature and then its body started to fall.
Ronan was not sure if the other boy could get away in time and flew down after him and picked him up on his broom and flew as fast as he could torwds the beach. Once they reached the beach he set the boy down and asked "Are you ok hun?" Out in the ocean the monster crashed into the water and waves 3 feet hight where storming the beach.

As he heard an explosion Floyd whirled around to see the beast start falling limply towards the ground. It was huge, and would have covered part of the beach. With a glance around he noticed he was alone. Everyone else was scurrying down the beach, the distant yells still carried on the wind.
His feet were frozen in the sand as he watch the beast fall slowly towards him. Suddenly time snapped back into place, and he tried to sprint out from under its huge mass. Seconds before he could get crushed, he felt arms grab him off the beach and lift him into the air. At first he freaked out after everything he'd seen, before he noticed it was the guy from the broom.
Floyd's face instantly turned pink, quickly fading to red as he heard the next few words coming out of his mouth. "I-uh-I-uhh. I'm fin-fine," He stuttered out, his gaze quickly falling to the ground. It felt as if his face was on fire, and he could feel the heat spreading along his body. He tried to put a little more distance between himself and his rescuer. He stuttered out a thanks before carefully lifting his eyes to meet his.

Ronan conjured up a bottle of flameing rum (i am a rum guy lol) and two shot glasses. he poured the shots and gave one to the boy. "Drink up it will help with the shock of everything" Ronan said and downed the shot. "I am Ronan Callahan by the way...and what where you doing out there?"

ooc;; Rum is delicious  bic;; Floyd blinked at the shot glass in his hand, and shook his head. "I, uh, don't drink," he whispered, trying to fight down the heavy blush spanning his cheeks. The following statement he couldn't help but think 'What shock?' Of course he didn't get the suggestion Ronan was sending him. "My name's Floyd," he replied rather timidly. His eyes shifting from the shot in his hand to the one the interesting man in front of him just downed. A few seconds later the smart part of his brain smacked him. "Oh! You meant - -!" Floyd faltered half-way through what he was going to say. He could feel the heat all the way to the edge of his scalp. This was going to be a long day. |

Ronan smiled at him "It is very nice to meet you....so um...would you like to come inside?" He asked pointing torwds the beach house he had rented. "I dont know about you but i can do without the smell of dead sea monster."

Floyd glanced in the direction Ronan gestured, and shrugged slightly. His brain couldn't even comprehend the suggestion behind the elder boy's question. "Well I'm not sure. My sister did want me to stay near by," Floyd trailed off, his noise crinkling as he looked at the dead sea monster splayed on the beach.
"But maybe going inside might not be a bad idea. As long as it's not too far," Floyd said, before glancing at the shot glass still in his hand. "Uhm, what should I do with this though?"

Ronan smiled and pulled out his wand and waved it so fast that there was a small sonic boom...kinda like the sound of a short whip and the shot glasses and rum vanished. "It is not....It is about 10 yards on the other side on the creaters head."
With that said Ronan turned to the creature and with another wave of the wandit was transfigured into a dead sea snake. Ronan threw it out into the water and as soon as it hit the water you could hear a huge body hit the water. He smiled at Floyd and started to walk torwds the beach house.

Floyd tried to peer around the gigantic beast trying to catch a glimpse of the house. He crinkled his nose at the smell as he looked around, and didn't notice until the bang that Ronan was getting rid of the rum. His feet jumped back a few steps, and he smiled shakily. A slight blush graced his cheekbones before he grinned back at Ronan.
Once the beast hit the water he caught site of the house. "Oh it looks pretty nice," He replied and grinned taking several steps towards the house before turning back.

"It is. I am thinking about getting a beach house." Ronan said with a smile and walked up to the house. He went inside and as soon as he stepped in a fire sprang into life in a gigantic fireplace. it issued purple and red smoke that had a spicy yet fruity smell. "So can I get you anything to drink?"
