He splashed in the ocean water, like a child, and grinned. Getting salt in his eye, he twitched it out, then struggled against the current to stand. Managing that, he rushed out to ride the next wave in. He got on his old, reliable surfboard, and somehow managed to be lucky enough to get a large wave to take him in. He waved his arms in happiness, and was soon flying through the air, his board having stuck in the beach floor.
He landed hard in the sand, near a section where some people had been relaxing. He frowned into the sand. It seemed to him that he was always doing that; getting a face-full of sand.
