Personality:
Shota is a very open minded person. Her personality is one which almost any character can relate to or get along with. She's very funny and tends to be somewhat clumbsy. She's very easy going. Don't be fooled by her fun nature, though. If needed she can be very blunt and vicious.
History:
Shota grew up in the Wizarding community. Raised by pureblood Witch and Wizard, Nathanial and Cassandria Death. Her father was a writer, famous for his novel, Troblins, the facts!. Her mother was an artist/home wife. Shota grew up with a loving family. She has one brother, Samual, 44 years of age, working as an auror. She visits her parents as often as possible.
Shota graduated Hogwarts in the Ravenclaw house, she worked at the Ministery in the Department of Magical Games and Sports, as she has always been a huge Quidditch fan. Recently Shota has taken an interest in the Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Slughorn was walking around the room in an odd sort of manner. It seemed he was rather excited about something today, but as Shota was never favored by Slughorn she doubted she would ever find out.
"Befuddlement Draught" Slughorn said aloud, looking from one student to the next, "is a potion which causes it's drinker to become... confused. This is a perfect potion for those of you who have obsessive parents and want to get away for a while." Shota could see kids around her were whooping. "I want to have four people working in a group. Two students from one house, working with another two students from another house... you understand right..." he looked around and seen resentful, but nodding faces, "good ...good... alright. The ingredients... are...."
Slughorn began writing the ingredients onto the board. She would have loved this lesson if it wasn't for the fact that she knew none of the kids from the other house, she hoped maybe one of her house mates did...
On the board it read "Ingredients: Scurvy-grass, Lovage, and Sneezewort. Causes the drinker to become fuddled, or confused."
"And!" Slughorn said excitedly, "The group that makes it JUST right, will take some of it home!"
Questions
If you were being attacked, what would you do?
I think it depends on the situation. If a muggle were to attack me with no weapon, I'm sure I could defende myself without question. So I would probably just let it be... rather than if another witch or wizard were to attack me. I know at the point I have something to fear. I would, of course, retaliate.
If the witch or wizard tried to curse me, let's assume they used the Cruciatus Curse, I would simply use "Stupefy," which means "to dull the senses." this would stun the attacker and allow me to either run or I could use the "Ennervate" charm, which brings the person back, for a proper duel.
If you saw your friend being hurt, what would you do?
Well, first off, lets hope that never happens! *scoffs*
I think I would try my best to help my friend. I'm a rather protective person. In the case that they deserved it, I still think I would help. No point in letting anyone get hurt, right?
What is your favorite color? Hmm, I have a few. Green, purple, orange, and yellow come to mind.
What are your two favourite Hogwarts houses? They would have to be Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
What is your favorite food? Dutch foods are wonderful. I would have to say, though, that my favorite food would be the dutch muggle dish, Shawarma.

Why should you be chosen?
I think I could be a wonderful DADA Professor. I have enough wit and experience to know how to defende yourself against a witch, wizard, creature, or dark being. I am honest enough to let the students know that you cannot go through out life without some sort of protection... and I wish to show them.
