Shannon walked down the noisy beach while looking into the glistening water that surrounded the Island that she was vacationing on. With a lovely breeze blowing through her hair, Shannon pushed her toes further into the, rocky yet soft, sand. With the sound of air in her ears, Shannon fell backward into the sand. With a stepping sound somewhere by her ear, Shannon turned her head to look and see who was standing next to her.

He smiled to himself as the sand squished between his toes. He peered out over the ocean. Watched peacefully as the waves crashed upon the rocky cliffs of Scotland somewhere near the beach he had journeyed to. This was a nice place to go to escape the business that was a university for magic before term began. “I’ll have to come here when I can,” he thought to himself, “Although, even an ocean can’t out-do a walk in the forest.” His mind filled with the smell of pine and infrequently disrupted soil. It combined with the salty, fresh scent of the ocean, and he found himself in a sort of self-induced bliss.
Which is why he wasn’t surprised to be lifting his sand-covered face off the beach floor a moment later; quickly summoning an apology to the girl he’d tripped over. He brushed off his face and looked at her, supplying a humble half-chuckle and an abashed lop-sided grin.
