Floyd is extremely shy around anyone he doesn't know, and hardly speaks until spoken to if he isn't babbleing endlessly, a rather bad habit he gets when he's nervous. Most kids just know his name, or know that he's a Chaser on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Although once you make friends with Floyd he's a totally different person. He's talkative, and loves to laugh. When he seemed like such an introvert it's hard to understand what really happened.
Even if you aren't friends with Floyd you can easily pick up on the innocence that oozes out of every pore of his figure. Dirty comments, innuendoes, and suggestions just fly over Floyd's head. It would take a glowing purple fairy to bite him in the ass for Floyd to really notice anything like that. Once he finally catches on to whats being said though he's easily flustered. Even sometimes his obliviousness goes as far that he has a hard time at picking up sarcasm.
Although his apparent innocence, there is something that he is beginning to pick up on about himself. It isn't only the girls that he's starting to fall for. The thought flusters him beyond belief, and it doesn't take much to scare him off. Even if other boys don't mean to, it doesn't take much before his face is flaming red. Floyd hardly gets it all means, and is having an extremely difficult time coming to terms with his uncertain sexuality.
Through all his obliviousness to what some would call ‘street smarts’ Floyd is quick witted, and picks up most ‘book smarts’ up very easily. He seems like a natural at most things he attempts, and could be an excellent teacher if he had the confidence to speak in front of so many people. He has a bit of an attention problem though that causes problems in some of his classes though.
Although it seems as if Floyd wouldn't be, he can be extremely driven when he wants to be. Which might be one of the few traits he picked up from his older brother. If he puts his mind to something, he won't stop until he gets it, or is completely derailed by someone physically or emotionally. It takes quite a bit to knock Floyd off his horse though once he gets on.
Floyd is an extremely nice guy, going out of his way to make other people happy. If it's someone he particularly likes he'll bend over backwards, which can turn him into a door mat at times. It wouldn't take much for someone to come by, and take advantage of Floyd. He's too trusting, and one day that's going to cause some serious problems.

His father, John, was born into a pureblood family that demanded their children to marry just the way they did, for money and blood. So his parents set out to find him the perfect bride. It wasn't long before they set their sites on a lovely pureblood woman, Paige.
It seemed perfect on the surface, the uniting of the two ancient families to continue the pureblood line. The marriage though had always been a mistake. They never really clicked, but they smiled and acted happy for the sake of everyone else. The relationship was always doomed to end before they even said "I do."
They had two children, both boys, before Paige discovered John was cheating on her with another woman. A muggle woman, who had a young girl between her boys ages, and another on the way. She didn't really mind, but instead felt secretly relieved. Paige and John could separate without the questions. It would be better for the both of them, since neither were particularly thrilled with their arrangements
Rumors exploded amongst both sides of the family, and some of the wizarding community. John's parents tried to squash the rumor, and attempted to keep the marriage together. If nothing except for appearance. The last shred of dignity they could muster. Although once the divorce was declared publicly, John's parents cut off their son and claimed that he was no longer of their blood.
After a while the rumors died down, and everyone quickly stopped caring. Who cared about the squabbling of an ancient pureblood family? Christine was just one of two bastard children born from some muggle. The other, no one talked about. She had seemingly disappeared from the earth, and apparently was going to some wizarding school in London.
Floyd, David, and Chris were spoiled heavily by their aunt, even if John tried to prevent it. Even if Missy didn't say it out loud, she was trying to compensate for the lack of grandparents. It wasn't long before all three of them were off to the University of Magic to pursue their magical knowledge.

He likes the color purple even though he wouldn't admit it, and he has an orange cat named Zipper. That's his baby. ^_^
